September Unemployment Rate Drops in St. Cloud Metro Area

UNDATED - The unemployment rate fell in the St. Cloud metro area last month. The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development says we're now at 3.1 percent, down from the 3.4 percent in August.

We have our lowest unemployment rate since October of last year.

We're slightly lower than the statewide average of 3.2 percent, and we're doing better than the national average of 5.1 percent.
