September Is Emergency Preparedness Month

UNDATED -- September is National Preparedness Month and Stearns County's Emergency Management department is asking you to think about whether you're prepared for an emergency.

Hazards can come in many forms whether it is a natural disaster like a tornado, blizzard or flood or a technological disaster like a train derailment or hazardous materials accident.

Emergency officials want you to ask yourself if you have an emergency plan that includes an emergency supply kit and other resources you may need in the event of a disaster.
