Senator Al Franken Tours Waite Park Manufacturing Center [AUDIO]

WAITE PARK – Senator Al Franken met with local manufacturing leaders during a stop here in the St. Cloud area today.
The Democratic US senator has been on a statewide manufacturing tour, and today’s leg of the trek found him speaking with representatives from Tru-Stone Technologies in Waite Park.
Franken said he’s extremely impressed with the 90,000 square foot granite machine manufacturing plant.

He stressed there are a lot of highly skilled positions available around Minnesota – the trick is finding people with the right training and skills to fill the need.
