Security Increased After Minneapolis Ramp Attacks

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Police say they have assigned undercover patrols to a parking ramp in the downtown Minneapolis Warehouse District after two women were attacked during daylight hours earlier this week.

Police say one woman was sexually assaulted Tuesday afternoon after a man pushed her into her car.

The other woman was shoved between two cars, but the man fled after someone else got off an elevator.

The man has not been arrested, but authorities have video of him getting off an elevator with his victims.

Police say they have added extra patrols and undercover officers in the area. They are also urging people to walk in pairs, put away cellphones, and know their surroundings.
