Security Guard Fatally Shoots Suspect In Eagan

EAGAN (AP) - Police in a Twin Cities suburb say a security guard has fatally shot an armed man who attempted to rob him.

The shooting happened shortly after midnight Monday at a warehouse in Eagan. The security guard told police he was attacked by the gunman and during the assault he shot the man. Authorities say the man who was shot died at the scene. The security guard suffered minor injuries. He was not taken to the hospital.

Eagan police say they are not seeking additional suspects in the incident.
