LITTLE FALLS -- The state court office released the second surveillance video footage from Byron Smith's home Wednesday.

The video is from Thanksgiving Day 2012 when 17-year-old Nick Brady and 18-year-old Haile Kifer were killed.

The video shows four different camera views of Smith's home. He is seen getting into his truck around 11:25 a.m. and returning without it about 15 minutes later.

Brady is caught on camera looking in through Smith's windows and walking around the house. The video does not show how Brady broke into the home. Kifer is also seen on camera walking around the house but the footage does not reveal how she got inside.

On April 29th Smith was convicted of two counts of first and second degree murder in the deaths of the two teenagers at his Little Falls home.

Smith's lawyer Steve Meshbesher argues that Smith was acting in self-defense. Meshbesher says Smith plans to appeal his case to the Minnesota Supreme Court. They have 90 days to file their appeal.
