SCTCC to Host Career Event Highlighting Welding

ST. CLOUD -- You can test your welding skills tomorrow (Thursday) at St. Cloud Technical and Community College.

The college is hosting a Career Ignite Open House that focuses on careers involving welding.

St. Cloud Tech will be hosting a number of Career Ignite events throughout the 2016-2017 school year.

Anyone is welcome to out to the open house. People will be able to try welding as well as visit mechanical design, machine tool and energy and electronics areas.

Employees and employers will be at the event to answers questions and illustrate what it is like to work in these various fields.

The open house goes from 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Park in lot A, enter through door 6 and the event will be held in room 1-367.
