SCTCC Hosting Special Event For Veterans [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD - Veterans looking to enroll in school are invited to a special event tomorrow (Friday).  The St. Cloud Technical And Community College is hosting a day exclusive for veterans from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Heidi Everett is the Director of Institutional Advancement.  She says they often have to help veterans navigate what they may have done in their military life, and how that relates to getting a degree.

She says the school works hard to help veterans get the education they're looking for.

Everett says they have a Veterans Center on campus, as well as a Veterans Club.  If you attend tomorrow's (Friday) event, they'll waive the $20 college application fee.

Veterans who come to tomorrow's event can still enroll in the fall semester, which starts on Monday, August 26th.
