SCSU’s Student Government President Getting National Recognition

ST. CLOUD - A St. Cloud State University student is being recognized as one of the top inspiring students in the nation.

Amanda Bardonner is one of 135 students from 30 states honored as a Newman Civic Fellow by Campus Compact.

Bardonner is a junior at SCSU, she's the Student Association President and was recently elected to serve as the State Chair for the Minnesota State University Student Association.

Last fall the Student Government held a referendum in which students voted to raise their own activity fees in order to spare any Husky sports programs from being eliminated.
