SCSU Women’s Hockey Defeated by Wisconsin 4-1

MADISON – The St. Cloud State Women’s hockey team fell to the Wisconsin Badgers 4-1 yesterday.

Wisconsin would pile up a 4-0 lead by the end of the second period. Katy Josephs scored two goals for the Badgers in the win.

The Huskies would get on the board thanks to a power play goal from Molli Mott, making it 4-1 in the third period.

Goalie Julie Friend recorded 52 saves in the action for the Huskies. Friend moves to a 0-2-2 record on the season.

St. Cloud State moves to an (0-3-2) record with the loss.

They’ll take on the Badgers again this afternoon to wrap up a two game series. Puck drop is scheduled for 3:07 p.m. at the LaBahn Arena.
