NEW YORK CITY -- St. Cloud State University is being recognized for their partnership with Universidad de Concepcion in Chile, as an innovation in international higher education.

President Earl Potter III, along with Ann Radwan, associate vice president for International Affairs and Robert Lavenda, professor of anthropology, will accept the Andrew Heiskell Award in New York City.

The partnership is one of five initiatives being recognized during the March 22nd ceremony.

SCSU began their relationship with the Chilean school in 2001.

Since then, it has expanded into a strategic partnership, attracting financial and training support of major health providers in Minnesota.
