ST. CLOUD - City officials have reopened the pedestrian bridge at St. Cloud State University.

The bridge was temporarily closed after a chunk of concrete fell from it down onto University Drive on Saturday night.

St. Cloud Project Engineer Angie Tomovic says they plan to do repair work on the bridge after the Fourth of July.

Tomovic says the bridge was already scheduled for routine maintenance before fall classes at SCSU.

The cost for the repairs will be between $15,000 and $20,000.

One person reported getting a flat tire on their truck, due to the cement on the roadway on Saturday night.
