SCSU Men’s Hockey Picked 6th In WCHA

The St. Cloud State men’s hockey team is picked to finish 6th in the WCHA preseason media poll.  The Gophers are picked to win the conference title followed by North Dakota, Denver, Wisconsin, Minnesota-Duluth, St. Cloud State, Colorado College, Nebraska-Omaha, Michigan Tech, Minnesota State-Mankato, Bemidji State and Alaska-Anchorage.

SCSU forward Ben Hanowski and defenseman Nick Jansen each were named to the WCHA preseason all conference team.  SCSU was 17-17-5 overall and 12-12-4 in the WCHA.

The Huskies open the 2012-2013 season at the University of New Hampshire on October 12.
