SCSU Men’s Hockey Gets A Tie At #3 UMD

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team earned a 3-3 overtime tie at 3rd ranked Minnesota-Duluth Saturday night.  SCSU takes 3 of a possible 4 points on the weekend series after beating UMD 8-2 Friday night.  SCSU scored 2 first period goals and took a 3-0 lead in the 2nd period before the Bulldogs came back.  Travis Novak, Jared Festler and Aaron Marvin each scored a goal for the Huskies and Mike Lee had 30 saves in net.  The Huskies are 12-14-4 overall and 8-11-3 in the WCHA.  SCSU will host North Dakota next Friday and Saturday nights.
