SCSU Men Upset By Upper Iowa; Women Lose to Winona State

The St. Cloud State men’s basketball team lost 73-55 to Upper Iowa in the NSIC/Stanford Health Quarterfinals at SCSU’s Halenbeck Hall Saturday.  Shaun Jensen led the Huskies with 17 points and Kevin Levandowski added 11 points.  SCSU shot 34 percent from the field.

St. Cloud State drops to 20-8 and their season may have come to an end.  SCSU was ranked 7th in the most recent North Central Regional.

The SCSU women lost 47-45 at home to Winona State in the NSIC quarterfinals at Halenbeck Hall.  Jessica Benson led the Huskies with 14 points and Nicole Anderson added 12.  SCSU finishes their season with a 19-9 record.
