St. Cloud State University junior forward Nick Oliver returned from Winter Break in Roseau to join the Granite City Cafe on AM 1390 The Fan Wednesday.

Oliver spent some time with family and got a little ice fishing in while on break, but he says he is ready to return to the grind of the season. The Huskies beat the USNTDP U18 team 8-0 on Saturday night in an exhibition game.

This weekend the Huskies are in Denver to take on the George Gwozdecky-less Pioneers. The longtime head coach was dismissed following the 2012-13 season, and was replaced by former USHL coach Jim Montgomery.
