SCSU Hockey Falls 4-1 in Frozen Faceoff

The top ranked St. Cloud State Hockey team lost 4-1 to #4 Denver Saturday night in the NCHC Frozen Faceoff Championship game.

The Huskies fell behind early and their lone goal was scored in the 3rd period by Ryan Poehling to make the score 3-1 at the time.

SCSU will likely be the #1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament when the pairings are announced live on ESPNU at 11am today.
