ST. CLOUD -- Cirque Zuma Zuma dazzled the audience last (Thursday) night at Ritsche Auditorium on the campus of St. Cloud State University.

Widely known as the "African-style Cirque du Soleil", the group regularly performs in Las Vegas, and has been featured on the television show, America's Got Talent.

Brian Domingo, Creative Leisure Coordinator for SCSU's University Program Board, worked to bring Cirque Zuma Zuma back to St. Cloud after a successful showing last year.

"They performed here last year and they really drew a big crowd," Domingo says, "So, we thought, let's bring them back again this year."

The acrobatic group awed spectators with incredible displays of athleticism.

"Very athletic, very comedic - a very entertaining group overall," says Domingo.

"I was really happy with how the night went."

The show started about 45 minutes late, after the group experienced car issues on the way to town.

Despite the delayed start, Domingo says the attendance was still strong and another show next year could be in the mix.

"People were still willing to wait, and come watch them. If I can, I hope to bring them back again next year."
