SCSU Basketball Completes Sweep at SWMS

The St. Cloud State men’s basketball team came from behind to win at Southwest Minnesota State in Marshall 71-69 Friday night.  SCSU trailed 32-27 at halftime but came stormin’ back in the 2nd half.  Theo Rothstein led the Huskies with 14 points and both Shaun Jensen and James Fort each scored 12 points.  SCSU improves to 10-2 overall and 6-2 in the NSIC.

The St. Cloud State women’s basketball team won 77-70 at Southwest Minnesota State Friday night.  Jessica Benson led the Huskeis with 32 points and Sam Price added 16.  SCSU improves to 11-1 overall and 7-1 in the NSIC.

The SCSU men’s and women’s basketball teams play at the University of Sioux Falls Saturday at 4 and 6pm.
