The St. Cloud State baseball team was eliminated from the NCAA Division II Central Regional early Monday morning with a 7-6 10 inning loss to Winona State.  SCSU and Winona started the game after 10pm Sunday night because of rain and field conditions at Dick Putz and Joe Faber Fields in St. Cloud.  SCSU's walked in the go-ahead run in the 10th inning.  Joey Benke hit a 2-run homerun for the Huskies.  SCSU lost a suspended game earlier in the day Sunday 3-1 to Minnesota State-Mankato.  The Huskies finished 1-2 in the double elimination tournament.  SCSU's season ends with a 43-11 record.  The 43 wins is a new school record.  Winona State plays Nebraska-Kearney at 1pm today with the winner matching up with Mesa State.  Mesa State knocked out MSU-Mankato yesterday.
