SCSU Baseball Begins Postseason With Shutout Victory Wednesday
The St. Cloud State baseball team opened up their NSIC Tournament with a 6-0 win over Northern State. The Huskies improve to 36-12 with the win.
Senior Corey Fitzgerald threw a complete game shutout, striking out five Wolves batters while allowing just four hits.
Cold Spring native Eric Loxtercamp led the SCSU offense with two hits and a pair of runs scored.
The Huskies will take on Augustana in round two of the tournament in Sioux Falls at 2 PM Thursday.
