ST. CLOUD -- The life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. is being celebrated at St. Cloud State and the College of St. Benedict tomorrow (Monday).

SCSU is holding a breakfast event and day of service this morning from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the Atwood Ballroom.

The event will feature a panel discussion and guest speakers Vernon Jordan and Grammy-nominated singer Yolanda Adams which will be simulcast on Twin Cities Public Television.

At the College of St. Benedict, nationally-recognized social activist Michael Benitez will speak tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m.

On Tuesday night, the Mixed Blood Theatre will perform the play "African American" at 7:30 p.m.

Both events will take place at the Stephen B. Humphrey Theater and are free to attend.
