August 2, 1963 - March 23, 2016

 

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Love of Christ Lutheran Church in St. Cloud for Scott Heddens, 52 of St. Cloud who entered into eternal life on Wednesday, March 23, 2016. Pastor Paul Hennings and Pastor Steve Klemp will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Love of Christ Lutheran Church in St. Cloud and also one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids.

Scott Allen Heddens was born on August 2, 1963 in Rochester to William and Mary (Wintheiser) Heddens. He grew up and lived in the St. Cloud area all of his life. Scott married Cindy Mick on June 13, 1987 in Cold Spring. He was a Project Manager for DCI for 28 years and a member of Love of Christ Lutheran Church. Scott enjoyed hunting, fishing, attending concerts and his son’s sporting events. He was a loving, humble, smart and creative man. Scott constructed a tandem bike for himself and Cindy so they could ride endlessly, side by side. He was steadfast in his faith and daily prayer was very important to him. Scott was funny, had a great laugh and was limitless.

Survivors include his loving wife Cindy of St. Cloud; son, Brandon (Chelsey Bethke) of St. Cloud; parents, William and Mary of Sauk Rapids and sister, Deb (Robert) Kohler of Pelican Rapids. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Delbert & Ida Wintheiser and B.J. & Minnie Heddens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
