Science Rocks! Conference Makes Science Fun, Hands-On for Grade Schoolers [VIDEO]

ST. CLOUD – Over 600 5th and 6th graders, from all around central Minnesota, got the chance to experience the wonders of science first-hand today.
The 2012 Science Rocks! Conference was held earlier today at the Wick Science Building at St. Cloud State University.
Sandra Cordie is the conference’s coordinator, she says the goal of each of the 30 different scientist-presenters is to give kids a hands-on educational, yet fun, experience.

Cordie says the kids als0 really enjoy being on a college campus, where it’s up to them to find which of the 35 workshops they want to attend throughout the day.
The Science Rocks! conference is an annual event on the SCSU campus.
