Sauk Rapids-Rice To Celebrate Diversity Of Community

People from all walks of life are gathering for a night of celebration tomorrow in Sauk Rapids.

It’s the 2nd annual “Sauk Rapids-Rice Celebrate! A Community of Generations and Nations.” They’re offering food from local ethnic restaurants, music and dance performances, and mini-language lessons in Norwegian, Chinese and Somali.There will also be a “kid zone” with facepainting and storytelling.

Last year’s festival drew in over 500 attendees, and they’re expecting even more this year.

It’s tomorrow  from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Sauk Rapids-Rice Middle School.
