SAUK RAPIDS - The Sauk Rapids-Rice school district has settled the contract with it's teachers union.

The school board approved the contract for this school year and next year at last (Monday) night's meeting.

The teachers will get no salary increases either year, but they will keep their steps and lanes increases.  The contract will cost the district an additional 2.47% this year, and another 1.72% next year.

The teachers have been working without a contract since July and will not receive back pay.
