Sauk Rapids Man Beaten and Robbed

A 27-year old Sauk Rapids man was beaten and robbed early Sunday in the 100 block of 6th Avenue South.
The man claimed that he was punched and kicked in the head by a group of black males who commented that he was “at the wrong place, wrong time” just prior to the assault The victim had several items taken from him after being knocked unconscious. The victim received medical treatment at Saint Cloud Hospital for non- life threatening injuries.
