SAUK RAPIDS - Sauk Rapids is making a temporary water switch that may impact some residents.

The city has two different water systems - a free chlorine system and a chloramine system. Due to maintenance and repairs, the city is switching entirely to the chloramine system, staring tomorrow (Tuesday).

Most people will not be impacted. However, people with fish tanks and people using home kidney dialysis units are advised to visit the city's website for more information.

Sauk Rapids plans to switch back in about six weeks.
