Sauk Rapids Kicks Off Christmas Season With Parade [AUDIO]

SAUK RAPIDS -- Sauk Rapids held its seventh annual Holiday Parade of Lights on Saturday.

Festival Coordinator Ellen Thronson has been involved with the event since the beginning.

Thronson says that she has seen the event grow while being put on by the Sauk Rapids Community Ambassadors.

Thronson says that she loves being involved because events like this help to bring the community together.

Thronson says that the event is part of a fundraiser that she is very proud of.

The parade finished off Family Fun Day which also included a silent auction and Toys for Tots 5k run.
