SAUK RAPIDS - A fire destroyed a Sauk Rapids home late last (Sunday) night.

Fire Chief Tony Hommerding says they were called to the home on 65th Street at about 11:00 p.m.  The fire started in the basement.  The damage is estimated at about $150,000.

The owner of the home, Marlys Packert, and three other people were able to get out of the house without being hurt.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
