SAUK RAPIDS -- The Sauk Rapids City Council will hold their first meeting in their temporary home this (Monday) evening.

The meeting at the Fire Hall begins at 6:00 p.m.

Among the items on the agenda will be approving the purchase agreement for the property of the future city hall.

The Sauk Rapids city staff and police department moved out of the old city hall two weeks ago.  That building will be torn down and a new Walgreens store will be built in it's place.  The new city hall will be built near the public works building.  It's expected to be completed by the end of this year.
