Sauk Centre Highway to Close for Two Months

SAUK CENTRE -- Road construction in Sauk Centre will force motorists to take a detour for two months.

The Stearns County Highway Department says work will begin on County Highway 72, also known as Beltline Road Monday.

The detour around the work will be via Highway 71 and County Highway 17. Access to local businesses will remain open.

Beltline Road (Hwy 72) will be closed from 12th Street South the Highway 71 while county highway crews rebuild the highway.

If the weather allows, it will be completed and re-open in approximately two months.
