SARTELL - The new Pinecone Central Park in Sartell continues to take shape.

Sartell City Council members tonight (Monday) will decide whether to use $200,000 in half-cent sales tax money to finish-up the rough grading work.  The organization called "The Pinecone Central Park Association" has already spent $900,000 on grading work.

The city council will also take about a lease agreement between the city and the association for them to talk over the operations and maintenance of the park.

When it's finished, the park will have baseball and soccer fields, a pleasure skating rink, cross country ski trails, and a pavilion with concessions and restrooms.
