SARTELL -- Like other surrounding cities Sartell will begin to look at their preliminary budget for 2015.

Tonight's (Monday) meeting will be the first of several over the next few months.

City Administrator Mary Degiovanni says the city is looking at a 7% increase and a 2.4% tax rate increase for the 2015 budget.

She says a portion of the increase would go into part-time staffing within the city offices.

Pinecone road is still looking at repairs but Degiovanni says the city is looking at sales tax dollars to help cover that cost.

The final budget proposal must be passed by the end of the year.
