SARTELL -- Sartell will take up the issue of a Community Resource Facility at its council meeting Monday.

City Administrator Patti Gartland says they must assess what their needs are, what spaces they currently have available, potential sites and any potential partners.

Some of the amenities up for consideration are a branch library, senior center, museum space and community meeting rooms.

Gartland says staff is looking for council direction to move forward.

In 2006, Sartell voters approved spending up to $3-million in half-cent sales tax money for a Community Resource Facility.

Gartland says if they move forward, a needs assessment could be completed by the end of the year with a concept design as soon as next summer.
