SARTELL- Starting this year, all Sartell and St. Stephen students grades 6-12 will receive a device to assist with their school work.

The device could be an iPad or laptop, depending on the student.

The student will have the device 24 hours a day through the school year. It will be used as a tool for class participation and homework.

This "Full Access Plan" was discussed at Sartell City Hall today.

Trevor Akervik a Sartell-St. Stephen Education Foundation board member talked about the program during the meeting

 

Kyle Breitkreutz, director of technology at Sartell and St. Stephen schools also talked about saving time by using these devices for school work.

Breitkreutz also added that students wont be able to download games or certain apps to these devices.
