SARTELL - The Sartell-St. Stephen school board has approved a contract with their recently selected Superintendent candidate Jeff Schwiebert.

The contract approved by the board during their regular meeting tonight (Monday) is for three years, beginning on July 1st of this year.

Schwiebert will be paid $156,500 in the first year of the contract, $159,630 in the second year,  and $162,822 in the final year.

He most recently served as Superintendent of North Scott Community School District in Eldridge, Iowa.

The Sartell-St. Stephen school district has had interim Superintendent Mike Spanier in place during this school year.  Previous Superintendent Joe Hill announced his resignation last spring. Hill was hired in 2010.
