Sartell-St. Stephen Board Wants Input on Next Year’s School Calendar

Steven Wright

SARTELL – The Sartell-St. Stephen school board has a homework assignment for the districts parents.

They’re asking parents, guardians, and staff members to complete an online survey on the calendar for the 2013-2014 school year.

The survey will focus on what is academically best for students and families.  It went out via email on Thursday, and responses will be collected through this Monday at noon.

Different vacation options include: long weekends in February, March and April, a five-day consecutive break in the spring, or a combination of both extending the school year by two days.

A proposed calendar will be presented to the School Board on April 15th, during their board meeting at the St. Stephen City Hall.
