Sartell Psychic Weighs in on Zodiac Sign Shift

SARTELL -- Many people may have a new Zodiac sign! NASA recently discovered a "new" constellation that adds a 13th sign to the Zodiac calendar.

Sartell psychic medium author, Tiffany Johnson (Psychic Tiff) says people are either choosing to embrace the new sign, Ophiuchus or choosing to stick with their original sign.

"Western astrology and eastern astrology, they are struggling with this little argument. Western astrology is saying no no no don't shift you're still the same. But I know Mr. O, the new one, means the snake bearer, which sounds very mean, angry and aggressive but it's not, this is the God that we got the medical staff from. It's really a healing symbol."

If you were born between November 29 and December 17 you can now consider yourself an Ophiuchus. Others signs may have changed as well, below you can check out a list to see if your sign has changed.

The constellation was actually discovered by the Babylonians some 3,000 years ago but it was discovered after the 12 month calendar had been created, so it was left out.

Johnson says the positions of the constellations change over time due to the tilt of the earth on it's axis.

"The first tilt has shifted so we're going through it now -- 3,000 years ago we didn't go through it as much but now we are seeing it more in the sky.
