Sartell Looks For Interim City Administrator

Patti Gartland
Patti Gartland

SARTELL — The City of Sartell is looking into all options for a replacement after City Administrator Patti Gartland offered her resignation.

Gartland, who recently agreed to become the President of the Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation, layed out different options the city can take to fill the soon-to-be vacant spot.

The council decided to pursue an option that includes finding someone to serve in a part-time capacity while another current staff member oversees day-to-day operations.

Gartland’s last day is May 31st. If a replacement isn’t found by that time, Finance Director Mary Degiovanni will assume the temporary responsibilities of the city administrator position.

Gartland has been with the City of Sartell for 12 years.
