Sartell Gets New Basketball Coach

Sartell-St. Stephen High School has announced the hiring of longtime assistant Marcus Oistad as head basketball coach. Oistad has been an assistant with the Sabres for the past five seasons.

Oistad takes the reigns from newly-retired Dave Angell, who coached the Sabres for the past 31 years. Angell took Sartell to the state tournament for the first time this past season.

Oistad graduated from Sartell in 2004, where he played football, basketball and tennis. He is currently a Social Studies teacher.
