SARTELL -- Placement of street signs are raising questions among Sartell residents.

The Sartell city council discussed tonight the possibility of amending their current sign protocol policy.

Over the past year, residents have voice concerns of street signs, such as stop, no outlet, or children at play, lacking or not needed in certain areas.

City Engineer Mike Nielson says due to the city's growth and development the current policy may need some changes.

He says he would like to see a two part policy in place that would be beneficial and provide safety to the community.

Upon further discussion council suggested it would be best if staff continued to review the current policy and come up with a recommendation that can be brought for discussion at the next council meeting.
