SARTELL  (AP) - Sartell City Councilman David Peterson is heading back overseas with the Minnesota Army National Guard.

Peterson, who's a captain in the National Guard, says he's being deployed for the second time in three years - this time to serve a seven-month stint in Afghanistan.

While he calls it "a stressful time" for his family, Peterson says you just have to make the situation "as positive as you possibly can."

Peterson is an attorney and says he would be serving as a military JAG officer during his latest tour.

He is scheduled to head for Afghanistan with other members of the 34th Red Bull Infantry Division on Aug. 1.

Peterson returned from a previous one-year stint with the Guard in Iraq in January 2010.
