Sartell Advances to Next Round in Football Playoffs [VIDEO]

SARTELL -- The rivalry continues for the Sartell Sabres and the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm this time meeting up in Quarter Final Playoff action.

Sartell would get off to a fast start with running back Darek Stachowski taking it in for the touchdown to put the Sabres up 6-0.

But it wouldn't end there as Stachowski finds the endzone one more time to give Sartell the 14-0 lead at the end of one.

Sauk Rapids-Rice is able to move the ball down the field but come up with nothing as the first quarter ends 14-0 Sartell.

Sabres would start the second quarter just like the first this time with a touchdown run by Nick Jensen, Sartell would lead it 21-0.

Sauk Rapids-Rice would storm make connecting on a couple of deep passes including one that would go for six from Tyler Bjork to Brandon Morrison, Storm would trail 21-6 at the half.

In the second half it was all Sartell as a strong defense and another touchdown would give them the 28-6 victory over the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm.

Sartell advances to the next round to face St. Cloud Tech.
