Sandy Feldhege Butala, 52, Richmond

June 24, 1953 – March 18, 2016

A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond, MN for Sandra Feldhege Butala age 52, who died Friday unexpectedly at home. Inurnment will be in the Sts. Peter & Paul Parish Cemetery, Richmond, MN.

There will be a gathering of relatives and friends from 8:30 – 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond, MN. Prayer service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Wenner Funeral Home.

Sandy was born in Richmond, MN to Richard and Mildred (Utecht) Feldhege. She married Russ Butala on March 9, 1991. Sandy was employed by Cold Spring for the past 15 years. Sandy was always happy, an upbeat person, very caring, loved life and everyone she came in contact with. She will be missed by all.

Survivors include her loving husband Russ; mother, Millie (Feldhege) Mueller; step-father, Merl Mueller; siblings, Jim (Fran) Feldhege, Tim (Lynn) Feldhege, Don (Deb) Feldhege, Sharon (Keith) Schaefer, Sue (Chris) Schreifels; step-sister, Margaret Renner; step-brother, Tim (Gail) Mueller; and many nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Feldhege; mother-in-law, Eugenia Butala; father-in-law, Matt Butala, Sr.; brother-in-law, Roman Gertken; and step-brother Scott Mueller.
