Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in St. Cloud for Sandra Rae Krupa, age 72, of Richmond who died Saturday at Quiet Oaks Hospice House near St. Augusta. Rev. Janine Olson will officiate and burial will be in Eden Lake Cemetery, Eden Valley. The Krupa family will greet family and friends at the visitation on Wednesday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church in St. Cloud.

Sandy was born July 12, 1943 in Gaylord, MN to Cecil & Elsa (Kaasalaineu) Fausch. She married Larry Krupa on July 18, 1964 in Grantsburg, WI. She was an elementary and middle school Teacher for 42 years, retiring in 2009 after receiving many prestigious teacher awards including the Little Red School House Teacher Award in Florida. Sandy has lived in St. Cloud for the past year and prior to that resided in Sisseton, SD. She attended Bethlehem Lutheran Church in St. Cloud and was a former member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Sisseton where she lead a bible study group and a knitting group. Sandy enjoyed teaching and loved her students. She could always bring out the best in everyone and looked for the good in others. One of her many favorite quotes was “It’s never wrong to be nice.” Sandy was a faithful, loving, confident and wise person who will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, Larry of Richmond; son, David (Jaime) of St. Cloud; daughter, Lisa (Matt) Messerli of Shorewood; brother, Peter (Carol) of Dayton; sister, Anita (Gary) Hentges of Richmond; grandchildren, Cole, Lauren, Leah, Camden, Thomas, Mikayla and Nathan. She was preceded in death by her parents.
