ST. CLOUD -- With below-freezing temperatures expected through the weekend, Benton County Emergency Management has put sandbagging efforts on hold.

The Mississippi River and Little Rock Lake water levels have fallen over the past couple of days.  However, the flood risk is still elevated.  Possible ice jams remain a significant concern.

Meanwhile, the water level on the Sauk River in St. Cloud is between 5 and 6 feet - and it expected to stay there for the next several days.  Flood stage on the Sauk is 6'.
