Salvation Army Announces Historic $2 Million Matching Donation

UNDATED - All donations to the Salvation Army in Minnesota and North Dakota are being doubled over the next two days.

The organization has announced they've received a matching donation of $2 million for donations made tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday.

This is the largest two-day matching gift in Salvation Army history.  It's been made possible by a small group of anonymous donors.

It doesn't matter how you donate - at a kettle or online -  every dollar will be doubled.

Salvation Army donations are down nearly 30 percent so far this season.
