Ruth Louise Uran, 94, of Princeton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Country Manor Nursing Home in Sartell.

Ruth was born April 11, 1921 in Clear Lake, MN the daughter of George and Margaret (Kirchenbauer) Beck. She attended and graduated from Clear Lake High School. Ruth married Glen Uran on May 12, 1951 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Clear Lake. Ruth was very active in her church; as a Sunday School Teacher, Choir Director, women’s missionary society, and White cross. She also enjoyed preparing breakfast for the residents of the Princeton Elim Home. She was proud of her 15 years on the Nursing Board for Benton County. She loved gardening, cooking, canning, quilting, sewing, farming, and listening to a Twins game on the radio (not so much if they were losing). She loved children and taught Sunday school and Bible school classes at Estes Brook Evangelical Free Church and the Country Church for over 50 years. Nothing would brighten her day more than when her students, past or present, would visit with her. Her most treasured moments were spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved many, and was loved by many. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Mary (Steven) Vogel of Rochester, John (Deborah) Uran of St. Cloud, Aaron (Natalee) Uran of Apple Valley, Paul Uran of Champlin, brother, Donald Beck of Brooklyn Park, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen; siblings, George Beck, Robert Beck, Barbara Lange and 2 grandchildren.
