Rural Richmond Barn Destroyed In Fire

RICHMOND - A barn has been destroyed in a fire. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says the call came in at about 3:45 a.m. Tuesday morning for a fire on 260th Street in Munson Township, near Richmond.

The barn was owned by Ronald and Sherry Rolfes of Richmond.

The St. Martin Fire Department found the building fully engulfed by the time they arrived.

The barn was used primarily for storage, and there were no animals inside. Items in the barn included two lawnmowers, two four wheelers, and other farm related items.

The cause of the fire is not known.
